Why Most People Quit Their Goals Too Early (And How to Avoid It)

Why Most People Quit Their Goals Too Early (And How to Avoid It)

I went hiking for the second time in my life this weekend. And let me be honest with y’all — I am out of shape.

I went with my husband, my trainer, and some friends from my wellness community.

Now listen… we were walking up toward the trail, and I thought that was the trail.

If I had been by myself, I probably would have turned around right there. Because to me, that walk alone already felt like the workout.

But my trainer was amazing.

The whole time he kept checking in with me.

“Is it your lungs or your legs?”

“How are you doing?”

What he meant was:

If this is medical, we pause.

If this is motivation, we keep going.

So I kept going.

Breathing hard.

Legs burning.

Sweating a little.

But guess what?

I made it to the top.

Principle (The Lesson):

Sometimes the only reason we quit is because we’re doing the journey alone.

But when you surround yourself with people who are ahead of you…

People who have already done what you’re trying to do…

People whose results you can see in their habits, discipline, and lifestyle…

They won’t let you quit at the beginning.

They’ll walk you to the finish.

This is true for hiking.

And it’s also true for goals, business, health, and life.

Most people don’t fail because they lack ambition.

They fail because they lack community.

That’s exactly why I built Goal Skool.

A place where you don’t have to climb the mountain alone.

A place where people support each other, stay accountable, and keep moving—even when it gets hard.

If you’re serious about your goals, come join us.

Let’s make it to the top together.
